Service overview

From one-off classes to structured capability programs

The Training & Certification Programs service focuses on learning experiences that are tightly aligned with real risk and governance work. Participants work with case studies, sample policies, and dashboards that mirror their own environment, so that learning translates directly into practice.

Programs can be delivered as executive briefings, hands-on masterclasses, or multi-module academies that run over several weeks. Rayterton can also embed live demonstrations of AI governance or digital risk tools built by the Rayterton team.

Flagship training and certification programs

The following programs can be combined into a broader risk academy, or delivered as targeted interventions for specific groups. All programs can be customised with internal policies, frameworks, and use cases from the client.

AI Governance Certification
3-4 modules Risk, compliance and data leaders

A certification-oriented program that covers AI governance frameworks, model lifecycle controls, AI risk taxonomy, and practical oversight of AI-enabled products. Participants work with a model inventory, risk controls, and case studies linked to internal policies.

Model Risk Management Certification
3-5 modules Model risk and validation teams

Focuses on model risk policies, inventory design, validation workflows, model performance monitoring, and regulatory expectations. The program can be aligned to existing MRM frameworks, including AI and non-AI models across business lines.

Cyber & Digital Risk Masterclass
1-2 day intensive Risk, IT and security teams

A condensed masterclass on cyber risk and digital resilience, covering threat scenarios, digital risk metrics, incident response, and dashboards for Board-level reporting. Options are available to integrate real cyber dashboards from the client environment.

Operational Resilience & Governance Workshop
Workshop series Business, operations and risk teams

A workshop-driven program that connects operational resilience requirements with governance structures, risk registers, and ERM dashboards. Participants map critical services, impact tolerances, and response playbooks into their existing risk environment.

Risk Culture & Leadership Program
Leadership track Senior and middle management

A leadership-focused program that helps executives and managers translate risk frameworks into day-to-day decision making. Topics include tone from the top, incentives, escalation behaviours, and practical tools for building a transparent risk culture.

Engagement model

How Rayterton typically runs a training engagement

Training projects are designed to fit around existing risk initiatives and regulatory timelines. The engagement model below can be scaled for a single program or a multi-month academy.

1
Discovery and curriculum design
Rayterton meets with sponsors and key stakeholders to understand current frameworks, policies, and learning objectives. Based on this, a customised curriculum, level of depth, and participant profile are defined for each program.
2
Content localisation and sample artefacts
Course material is adapted using the institution's own policies, taxonomies, and templates where possible. Sample model inventories, dashboards, and case studies are prepared to mirror real scenarios.
3
Program delivery and interaction
Programs are delivered by Rayterton consultants and subject-matter experts. Sessions mix short lectures, guided exercises, and group discussions, with time reserved for institution-specific questions.
4
Assessment, certification and follow-up
Where certification is required, participants complete knowledge checks or a final assignment. Rayterton provides certificates of completion and can propose follow-up modules or coaching to reinforce adoption.
